Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development, Vocational Training & Skills Development and Youth Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the road that runs alongside the Yoda ela that takes water from Kala Wewa to Thisa Wewa belongs to the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment; and
(ii) this road, which is used by residents of 6 villages, is in a very dilapidated condition owing to not repairing it for nearly 30 years?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) the reasons for not repairing this road up to now; and
(ii) the date on which this road will be reconstructed?
(c) If not, why?
