Hon. (Dr.) Nalinda Jayathissa,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Livestock Development, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the date on which the Peliyagoda Central Fish Market Complex was opened;
(ii) the income earned by the Sri Lanka Fisheries Corporation of Sri Lanka since the day the vehicle park of that market complex was opened;
(iii) whether a portion of the income from that vehicle park goes to a private company;
(iv) if so, the amount that goes annually;
(v) whether a tender procedure was followed in awarding the task of collecting the above money to that private company; and
(vi) if so, the other companies that submitted tenders for that?
(b) If not, why?
