Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Economic Affairs, Irrigation and Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the objectives of the programme named “one tank for a village”, which is implemented by the Ministry of Fisheries and Water Resources;
(ii) the tanks selected for the aforesaid programme from each electorate in Badulla district, separately; and
(iii) whether the Ministry will take steps to select more tanks from Badulla district for the aforesaid programme?
(b) If not, why?
