Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Minister of Transport & Civil Aviation,—
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the total number of buses owned by the Sri Lanka Transport Board;
(ii) out of the aforementioned buses, the number of buses which are in a condition fit to be run;
(iii) of the number of buses which are not fit to be run;
(iv) of the steps taken by the Ministry to repair such buses; and
(v) if plans have been formulated to import new buses to strengthen the fleet of buses owned by the SLTB, of the details related to this endeavor?
(b) If not, why?
