Hon. Hesha Withanage,— To ask the Minister of Internal & Home Affairs and Provincial Councils & Local Government,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the reason for not having been completed yet the investigation into the display of a election propaganda hoarding (20x30 feet) in the premises of the Godakawela Divisional Secretariat during the period of the presidential election 2015;
(ii) the action that will be taken to expedite this investigation; and
(iii) the action that will be taken against the sluggish manner that such investigations into the acts of corruption such as the display of election propaganda hoardings in public institutions are carried out?
(b) If not, why?
