Hon. Ishak Rahuman,— To ask the Minister of Public Enterprise & Kandy City Development ,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the Dhathusena Watta of Kalawewa with an extent of approximately 1000 acres which comes under the ownership of a Melsiripura Plantation Company has become a barren land gone in to wilderness at present;
(ii) this land can be renovated and reconstructed enabling the government to earn an income out of it; and
(b) If so, will he inform this House of the date on which the aforesaid task would be initiated?
(c) If not, why?
