Hon. Ashoka Priyantha,— To ask the Minister of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development and Rural Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of fisheries families residing in the Baththalangunduwa fisheries village of Kalpitiya;
(ii) whether he is aware that the said fisheries community is faced with a severe issue of getting drinking water; and
(iii) if so, of the steps that will be taken to solve the issue of water faced by the said community?
(b) If not, why?
