Hon. Indika Anuruddha Herath,— To ask the Minister of Women and Child Affairs,—
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) separately of the population of women, children, youths and the elderly living in this country respectively;
(ii) of the amount of money that was allocated from the budget for year 2017 for the functioning of the National Committee on women;
(iii) of the present state of the functioning of that Committee;
(iv) of the amount of money that was allocated from the budget for year 2017 for providing houses and other relief measures to women who are rendered destitute due to violence; and
(v) of the date from which provision of such relief measures would be commenced?
(b) If not, why?
