Hon Premalal Jayasekara,—To ask the Minister of Highways & Road Development,—
(a) Is he aware that —
(i) work on 05 road projects in the Nivithigala electorate of the Ratnapura District commenced in December 2015 under the “iRoad” project;
(ii) work in 02 of the aforesaid projects has reached final stage while work has been suspended in 03 of the projects;
(b) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the date on which the suspended projects will re-commence;
(ii) of the deadlines set for these projects which are expected to be completed within year 2017?
(c) If not, why?
