WELfARE BENEfITS ACT, No. 24 Of 2002
BY virtue of powers vested in me by Section 09 of the Welfare Benefits Act, No. 24 of 2002, I, Anura Kumara Dissanayake, minister of Finance, Planning and Economic development of the democratic Socialist republic of Sri Lanka, do hereby declare the Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Payment Scheme as specified in the following schedules shall come into force with effect from the date on which the approval of Parliament of this payment scheme.

The Notification published in Extraordinary Gazette No. 2384/30 dated 17.05.2024 is hereby rescinded.
