PARLIAMENT

Resolution for the implementation of the recommendations of the Select Committee of Parliament to investigate into incidents of infringement of privileges of the Members of Parliament and of the Parliament and to make suitable recommendations in that regard was passed in Parliament today (Mar. 21) by a majority.

Following the debate on the Resolution held, the opposition called for a division and 75 votes were cast favor and 43 votes were against on the said. Thus, the relevant Resolution was passed by a majority of 32 votes.
