Business in the House Today


Second Reading of the Bill entitled “Code of Criminal Procedure (Special Provisions)” was postponed by the House.

The Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament on behalf of the Minister of Export Development and International Trade with leave of House withdrew the item No. 19 of today’s Order Paper regarding an Order under Sri Lanka Export Development Act No. 40 of 1979 published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1462/27 of 15th September 2006.

Thereafter, the Hon. Bimal Rathnayaka moved an Adjournment Motion on “Admission of students for Grade One in 2008”.

The House was adjourned at 1628 Hrs.
