Business Passed in the House Today


Vote of condolence on the late Hon. H.M.A Lokubanda MP was taken up and completed in the House. Following that, Vote of condolence of late Hon. Ediriweera Premaratne MP was commenced.

Minister of Highways and Road Development and the Chief Government Whip Hon. Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, moved Item Nos. 22, 23, and 24 of the today’s Order Paper.

Thereafter, Hon. R.M. Padma Udhaya Shantha Gunasekera moved a motion at the adjournment time regarding “A Great Delay in Paying Samurdhi Benefits to the Recipients”

The House was adjourned at 1330 Hrs until 0930 Hrs of 3rd of July 2007.
