Business Passed in the House Today


The Leader of the House of Parliament withdrew the following items in today’s Order Paper ;

No 34. Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution Bill — Adjourned Debate on question - (24th February, 2005)

No 35. Ceylon Electricity Board (Amendment) Bill — Second Reading

No 36. Electricity Reform (Amendment) Bill — Second Reading

No 37. Katikavat Registration Bill — Second Reading.

No 38. Regulations under the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act


Thereafter, an adjournment motion on the sale of shares of Sri Lanka Telecom was moved by Hon. Jayasekara Dayasiri

The House was adjourned at 1400 Hrs, until Tuesday, 19, June 2007
