Business of the House


The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. Arundika Fernando, M.P. in Parliament on December 21st, 2011, moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order 127.


The Hon. Vidura Wickramanayaka was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Bulathsinhala Janasakthi Mahasangamaya (Incorporation)".


Main Business of the House for Today

Regulations under the Motor Traffic Act

were passed by the House.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Implementation of a proper programme to sell Paddy” was moved by the Hon. P. Harrison.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1900 Hrs. until 1330 Hrs. on Friday 9th March 2012.
