Presentation of Papers

(i) Annual Report of the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board for the year 2010
(ii) Annual Performance Report of the Coast Conservation Department for the year 2010
(iii) Annual Report of the Ceylon Fisheries Corporation for the year 2009
(iv) Performance Report of the Ministry of Agriculture for the year 2010


The Hon. Nishantha Muthuhettigamage was granted leave to introduce the Bill, entitled "Welanhinna Wachissara International Cultural Foundation (Incorporation)".


Main Business of the House for Today

Following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 4 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

• Order under the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act
• Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act
• Central Colleges Past Pupils’ Association of Sri Lanka (Incorporation) Bill - Consideration
• Rahula College, Matara Past Pupils Association (Colombo Branch) (Incorporation) Bill - Consideration


Second Reading of the following (Incorporation) Bills (appearing as Item Nos. 5 and 6 of today’s Order Paper) were moved by the House and referred to the Standing Committees (Legislative) :-

• Kotasara Piyangala Rajamaha Viharastha Development Society - Standing Committee “B”
• S.B. Nawinna Foundation - Standing Committee “A”


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1752 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 8th February 2012.
