Business in the House Today


At the commencement of Public Business Hon. Wijeyadasa Rajapakhse introduced a Bill to incorporate “Provincial of the Brothers of Charity in Sri Lanka”.

Secondly, Hon. (Ven.) Udawatte Nanda Thero introduced a Bill to incorporate “Sri Kalyanodaya Society-Kandy”.

Thirdly, Hon. Anurudha Polgampala introduced a Bill to incorporate “Central Colleges Past Pupils’ Association of Sri Lanka”.

Hon. Ravi Karunanayake moved a Private Member Motion “Indicating the details of the projects in the Election Manifesto of Political Parties or Groups contesting elections” and was passed by the House.

Hon. Gamini Jayawickrama Perera moved a Motion at Adjournment Time on “Deduru Oya and Moragahakanda Project water supply to North-Western Province”.

The House was adjourned at 1300 Hrs until 09.30 am of Tuesday 22nd May 2007.
