Business in the House Today


Vote of condolence on the late Hon. Stanley Thilakaratne ex-Speaker of Parliament was moved in the House.

In today’s Order Paper item Nos 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 were passed by the House.

Thereafter the Private Member Bills appearing as item Nos 30, 31, 32 and 33 were referred to the Legislative Standing Committee “A”.

The Private Member Bills appearing as item Nos 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 were considered and passed by the House.

The House was adjourned at 1355 Hrs.
