Ministerial Statements
(i)    Hon. K.D. Lal Kantha, Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 06.05.2026 regarding impact of Cyclone ‘Ditwah’ on paddy production for the 2025/ 2026 Maha season.
(ii)    Hon. Ananda Wijepala, Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake under the Standing Order 27(2) of the Parliament on 08.10.2025 regarding Eradication of Drugs and Narcotics in Sri Lanka.


Privilege
(i)    The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by the Hon. G.G. Ponnambalam, M.P. on 21st May, 2026 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Chief Opposition Whip, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges in terms of the provisions of Standing Order 118 of the Parliament. 
(ii)    The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by the Hon. S.M. Marikkar, M.P. on 13th November, 2025 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Chief Opposition Whip, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges in terms of the provisions of Standing Order 118 of the Parliament. 
(iii)    The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by the Hon. Dr.) Ramanathan Archchuna, M.P. on 10th June, 2026 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Chief Opposition Whip, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges in terms of the provisions of Standing Order 118 of the Parliament.

Division was taken at the Second Reading (113 in favour; 10 against) and passed by the House with amendments.
