Main Business of the House for Today
Resolution on the Select Committee of Parliament to conduct a comprehensive study on the lack of preparedness to face Cyclone Ditwah and report to Parliament and submit its proposals and recommendations in that regard (appearing as Item No. 1 of today’s Order Paper)
was approved by the House.
Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Post-Cyclone ‘Ditwah’ situation of the country” was proposed by the Hon. (Mrs.) Rohini Kumari Wijerathna, Member of Parliament.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1730 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 22nd January 2026.
