Presentation of Papers
(i) Regulations made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 20 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 amended by Acts, No. 48 of 1985 and No. 28 of 1987 read with Sections 4(1) and 14 of the aforesaid Act and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2421/04 of 27th January 2025.
(ii) Regulations made by the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development under Section 20 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No. 1 of 1969 amended by Acts, No. 48 of 1985 and No. 28 of 1987 read with Sections 4(1) and 14 of the aforesaid Act and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 2421/44 of 31st January 2025.
(iii) Reports on the Submission of observations and steps taken in terms of the Standing Order 119(4) of the Parliament with regard to the matters mentioned on the District Secretariats — Badulla, Galle, Polonnaruwa, Kegalle, Gampaha, Nuwara Eliya, Vavuniya, Mannar, Batticaloa, Matale, Kandy, Kalutara, Matara, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Colombo, Monaragala, Mullaitivu, Ampara, Ratnapura, Hambantota, Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Trincomalee in the reports of the Committee on Public Accounts which were presented to Parliament.
(iv) Report on the Submission of observations and steps taken in terms of the Standing Order 119(4) of the Parliament with regard to the matters mentioned on the Registrar General’s Department in the report of the Committee on Public Accounts which was presented to Parliament.
(v) Annual Report of the Shrama Vasana Fund for the year 2023.

Appropriation Bill (2025) - Second Reading (Seventh Allotted Day)

Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill (2025) was passed by the House. Division was taken. 155 were in favour while 46 were against it.
The Appropriation Bill (2025) was referred to the Committee of the whole Parliament.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1825 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Thursday 27th February 2025.
