The Hon. Chief Government Whip moved the Bill entitled

“Office for National Unity and Reconciliation”

to provide for the establishment of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation, in order to ensure and promote national unity and reconciliation in Sri Lanka; to set out the powers, duties and functions thereof and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


Main Business of the House for Today

Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion to “mark the Centenary of the Committee on Public Accounts” was proposed by the Hon. (Dr.) Major Pradeep Undugoda.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1638 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 18th October 2023.
