The questions of privileges raised by the following Members of Parliament were referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order 127:-


Main Business of the House for Today

The following items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 4 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House. Item (i) was passed with amendments;

(i) Sri Lanka Institute of Landscape Architects Bill
(ii) Two orders under the Soil Conservation Act
(iii) Regulations under the Plant Protection Act


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on “Economy of the Country” was moved by the Hon. Ravi Karunanayake.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1630 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 19th May 2009.
