Main Business of the House for Today

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 1 to 6 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Two resolutions under the Constitution
(ii) Determination under the Commission to investigate Bribery or Corruption Act
(iii) Resolution under the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka Act
(iv) Resolution under the National Education Commission Act
(v) Resolution under the Appropriation Act


Motion at Adjournment time

Motion at Adjournment time on “Suspension of housing rent allowance of Ministers” was moved by the Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1530 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 21st January 2009.
