Ministerial Statements
Minister of Development Assignments and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Hon. Tilak Marapana replied to the Question raised by the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena under Standing Order 23(2) of the Parliament on 20.09.2017 regarding actions the Government would take to refute statement against Sri Lanka, issued by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein
Presentation of Bills
The Hon. Gayantha Karunatileka, the Chief Government Whip presented the following Bills entitled-
(i) Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Duties - to provide for the investigation and imposition of Anti-Dumping Duties and Countervailing Duties with regard to products imported into Sri Lanka and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto
(ii) Safeguard Measures - to provide for the conduct of Investigations and the Application of Safeguard Measures on products imported into Sri Lanka; and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
(iii) Fisheries (Regulation of Foreign Fishing Boats) (Amendment) - amend the Fisheries (Regulation of Foreign Fishing Boats) Act, No. 59 of 1979

Today is the Fourteenth Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2018) – “Committee Stage Debate”.
