Business in the House


At the Commencement of Public Business the following items were Passed by the House today;

The Motion moved by the Leader of the House of Parliament regarding the Sittings of the Parliament, that this Parliament at its rising this day do adjourn until 09.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 08th January, 2008.

Hon. Kabir Hashim was granted leave by the House to introduce a Private Member Bill entitled; “Institute of Al-Jamiathul Ghawshiyyah (Incorporation)”.

Hon. (Ven.) Athuraliye Rathana Thero was granted leave by the House to introduce a Private Member Bill entitled; “Social Service Foundation of Wickramashila Dharmayathenaya in Bandaragama (Incorporation)”.
