House agreed to the Motion moved by the Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, Minister of Higher Education and Highways and the Leader of the House of Parliament to grant the Sectoral Oversight Committee on International Relations an extension of time till 03rd July, 2017 to submit its report to the Parliament.
Private Members’ Bills
The Hon. Wimalaweera Dissanayaka was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled
“Sri Lanka Institute of Agriculture (Incorporation)”
The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Agriculture for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47(5) of the Parliament.
Main Business of the House for Today

were passed by the House.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1356 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 06th June 2017.
