Business in the House Today


At the commencement of Public Business today, the Hon. Chief Government Whip of Parliament on behalf of the Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Administration, and Deputy Minister of Defence, Public Security, Law and Order, presented the Bill entitled “Api Wenuwen Api Fund” to provide loans for the construction or purchase of houses for armed service personnel; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Thereafter, the following Bills were presented by the Minister of Labour Relations and Manpower;

1. Termination of Employment of Workmen (Special Provisions) (Amendment)
2. Industrial Disputes (Amendment)
