Business in the House Today


At the Commencement of Public Business, Hon. Ravindra Samaraweera was granted leave to introduce a Private Member Bill entitled “Future World Organization (Incorporation)”.

In Main Business, the Second Reading of the Bill entitled “Sir John Kotelawala Defence Academy (Amendment)” was passed by the House, without amendments.

Motion at the Adjournment time was moved by Hon. Rajavarothiam Sampanthan, regarding the North-east military activities, inquiring into civilians affected by.

The House was adjourned at 1420 Hrs.
