Hon. Shantha Bandara,— To ask the Minister of Sports,—
(a) Is he aware that Sri Lankan sports persons participated in the Olympic Games during the period from the year 1948 upto now?
(b) Will he submit to this House the list of names of the sportspersons who participated in the Olympic Games during the period mentioned above, the victories achieved by them and the years in which those achievements were made?
(c) Will he state—
(i) the place and the year in which the next Olympic Games will be held ;
(ii) whether sportspersons from Sri Lankan will participate in it ; and
(iii) the programme that has been launched in that regard?
(d) If not, why?
