Hon. Niroshan Perera,— To ask the Minister of Economic Development,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the estimated cost of the new main bus station that is being constructed in Wennappuwa town of Puttlam District?
(b) Will he state—
(i) the name of the company which has been assigned the construction of that bus station;
(ii) whether that company has given a sub-contract to another institution for the said construction;
(iii) if so, whether proper tender procedure has been followed in awarding that sub-contract; and
(iv) the name, address and the telephone number of the owner of the institution which has been awarded such sub-contract?
(c) Will he also inform this House of —
(i) the institution which supervises the construction of that bus station;
(ii) the time that will be taken to complete the construction; and
(iii) the number of buses that can be parked at the said bus station after the completion of its construction?
(d) If not, why?
