Hon. Abdul Haleem,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs,—
(a) Is he aware that Mr. A.H.M. Nazeer who is serving as the Divisional Secretary of the Akurana Divisional Secretariat Division in the Kandy District has been transferred with effect from January 2012?
(b) Will he inform this House whether action will be taken to appoint a Divisional Secretary who can perform duties in the Tamil language to the Akurana Divisional Secretariat Division which is predominantly inhabited by the Tamil Speaking Muslim and Tamil Communities (68%) ?
(c) If not, why?
