Hon. Thushara Indunil Amarasena,— To ask the Minister of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development and Rural Economic Affairs,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of dairy cattle imported to Sri Lanka from the year 2010 to date;
(ii) of the countries from which aforesaid dairy cattle were imported;
(iii) of the money spent on importation of dairy cattle;
(iv) of the progress of our annual dairy production by now; and
(v) of the measures taken by the ministry to uplift the local dairy production ?
(b) If not, why?
