PARLIAMENT

Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana, Speaker announced to the House today (Nov. 25) that in term of the provisions of Article 79 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, he has endorsed the certificate on the Bill titled “Galaha Bhaddrawathie National Bhikkhu Care Center Trust” on 24th November 2023.

Accordingly, the Galaha Bhaddrawathie National Bhikkhu Care Center Trust Act No. 31 of 2023 will come into effect from November 24th, 2023.
