PARLIAMENT

A cordial meeting was held between the Speaker of the Sri Lankan Parliament Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana and the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Hon. Shalva Papuashvili.

The meeting was held while attending the 147th Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Luanda, Angola. The Speakers exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Members of Parliament, Hon. Mohomad Muzammil, Hon. Mayadunna Chinthaka Amal, Hon. (Mrs.) Rajika Wickramasinghe, and the Secretary General of Parliament Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera were present during this occasion.
