PARLIAMENT

Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana, Speaker of Parliament endorsed the certificate on the two Bills Inland Revenue (Amendment) Bill and Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Bill today (Sep. 08). The said Bills were passed in Parliament yesterday (07).

These two Bills were taken up for debate in Parliament yesterday (07) and the day before yesterday (06).

Accordingly, the two Bills, the Inland Revenue (Amendment) Act No. 14 of 2023 and the Social Security Contribution Levy (Amendment) Act No. 15 of 2023 will come to effect from today (08).
