PARLIAMENT

The new Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Sri Lanka, Her Excellency Miyon LEE paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana in Parliament recently (Aug 03).

During the cordial discussion held between them focusing on several matters of mutual interests, the Ambassador emphasized on the assistance and the ongoing research and development affiliated with supporting the agricultural sector in Sri Lanka.

Moreover, assistance provided through KOICA, Sri Lanka towards supporting Education, Transport, Water Management and Sanitation as well as Rural Development was also discussed here.

The Acting Secretary General of Parliament Mr. A.H.M.H.H.S. Abeyrathne was also present at the occasion.
