The live Twitter Spaces discussion on “Reforming the Justice System” will be held on the 14th of October from 9.30 am to 10.30 am via the Parliament official Twitter account (@ParliamentLK) with the participation of Hon. (Dr.) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms.

Questions from the public related to “Reforming the Justice System and Constitutional Reforms” can be directed under the hashtag #LKaskMP and the public are invited to direct their concerns by connecting and engaging live on that day.

Furthermore, the Poisons, Opium and Dangerous Drugs’ (Amendment) Bill, Notaries Ordinance (Amendment) Bill, Powers of Attorney Ordinance (Amendment) Bill, Wills Ordinance (Amendment) Bill, Registration of Documents (Amendment) Bill, Prevention of Frauds Ordinance (Amendment) bill are scheduled to be taken up for debate on the 19th of October, the coming sitting week.

This series of live Twitter discussions is organized by the Department of Communication of the Parliament of Sri Lanka as an initiative to create a platform for public representatives and the public to engage directly through Parliament for the purpose of creating a people-centric parliament.
