There is a lot of interest in this country as well as in international politics, with regard to the process of electing a succeeding president of Sri Lanka.

In the case of electing a succeeding president, this research study titled 'Succeeding President' is presented to investigate the legal provisions related to this process as well as the parliamentary procedure.
