PARLIAMENT

The second volume of the ‘Parliamenthu Sara Sanhitha’ Academic journal published by the Communication Department of Parliament was presented to Leader of the Opposition Hon. Sajith Premadasa and Chief Opposition Whip Hon. Lakshman Kiriella recently at Parliament Premises.

Secretary General of Parliament Mr. Dhammika Dasanayake presented the Academic journal to the Leader of the Opposition and Chief Opposition Whip. The Director Legislative Services and Acting Director for the Department of Communications Mr. H. E. Janakantha Silva and Media Manager of the Department of Communications Mrs. Nimmie Hathiyaldeniya were also present at the occasion.

This journal contains articles by a number of scholars representing the academic field under a wide range of disciplines such as the Legislative Process, Sustainable Development, Electoral System and its amendments, Parliamentary Reporting and Media, Public Outreach and the Trends in Sri Lankan Women's Politics.
