House agreed to the Motion moved and seconded by the Hon. M. A. Sumanthiran and the Hon. Ajith P. Perera respectively, that the Standing Orders be suspended for the day.


Vote of No Confidence on the Government including the Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, appointed from 26th October 2018

motion was proposed and seconded by the Hon. Anura Dissanayaka and the Hon. Vijitha Herath respectively and passed by the votes taken by voices, ‘Ayes’ and ‘Noes’.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1417 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Monday 19th November 2018.
