Ministerial Consultative Committees
House agreed to the Motion moved by the Hon. Lakshman Kiriella, the Leader of the House of Parliament, that notwithstanding the provisions of Standing Order No.112 of the Parliament and the resolutions adopted by Parliament on 20th June 2018 and 17th July 2018, the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Defence and the Ministerial Consultative Committee on National Policies and Economic Affairs shall consist of eleven (11) Members.

Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Procedures for Diplomats (foreign and local) organizing visits and functions” was proposed by the Hon. Bimal Rathnayake.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1822 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 18th September 2018.
