Minister of Higher Education & Cultural Affairs, the Hon. (Dr.) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe made a Ministerial Statement regarding the removal of illegal construction from Galle fort cricket stadium.

The Hon. M. A. Sumanthiran made a Personal Explanation on the allegation of the Steering Committee of the Constitutional Assembly.

Bribery (Amendment) Bill

was passed by the House.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Drinking water problem in Unnichchi village in Batticaloa District” was proposed by the Hon. Gnanamuthu Srineshan.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1845 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 7th August 2018.
