Presentation of Reports from the Committees

(ii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Health and Human Welfare, Social Empowerment was presented by the Hon. Mylvaganam Thilakarajah on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee.

Privilege
The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. (Dr.) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, M.P. on 22nd June, 2018 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon Chief Government Whip, was referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges under Standing Order No. 118 of the Parliament.
Adjournment Motion
Adjournment Motion on “Provincial Council Elections and Electoral System” was proposed by the Hon. M. A. Sumanthiran.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 17th July 2018.
