Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Gayantha Karunatileka, the Chief Government Whip presented the Bill entitled

“Apartment Ownership (Special Provisions)”

to facilitate the registration and disposition of certain Condominium Properties owned by the State or by a State agency; and to make provision for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Main Business of the House for Today

General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (Special Provisions) Bill

was passed by the House with amendments.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Vacating of Army and Police camps from some DS divisions in Batticaloa District” was moved by the Hon. Gnanamuthu Srineshan.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1913 Hrs. until 1000 Hrs. on Thursday 21st June 2018.
