Presentation of Papers
(i) Performance Reports of the Department for Registration of Persons for the years 2011 and 2012
Annual Reports of the;
(ii) State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka for the year 2013
(iii) National Housing Development Authority for the year 2013
(iv) Order made by the Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade under Section 14 of the Sri Lanka Export Development Act, No. 40 of 1979 relating to Cess and published in the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1992/52 of 11th November 2016
Presentation of Reports from the Committees
(i) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Transport and Communication was presented by the Hon. M. H. M. Salman on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee, the Hon. Chamal Rajapaksa.
(ii) The Report of the Sectoral Oversight Committee on Health and Human Welfare, Social Empowerment was presented by the Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee, the Hon. Lucky Jayawardana.

Privilege
The Privilege motion that the question of privilege arising out of the matter raised by Hon. (Dr.) Jayampathy Wickramaratne, M.P. on 07th December, 2016 in Parliament to the effect that his privileges have been infringed, moved by the Hon. Leader of the House of Parliament, was referred to the Committee on Privileges under Standing Order No. 127 of the Parliament.
Main Business of the House for Today
Medical (Amendment) Bill
was passed by the House with amendments.
Motion at the Adjournment Time
Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Action to resettle the families in land located at Karandai village in the district of Kilinochchi which was forcibly taken over by the Coconut Cultivation Board” was proposed by the Hon. S. Shritharan.
The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1830 Hrs. until 1030 Hrs. on Friday 27th January 2017.
