Presentation of Bills

The Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Prime Minister and Minister of National Policies and Economic Affairs moved the Bill entitled

“Sri Lanka Sustainable Development”

to provide for the development and implementation of a National Policy and Strategy on Sustainable Development in Sri Lanka; for the establishment of a Sustainable Development Council and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1040 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Tuesday 24th January 2017.
