Private Members’ Bills

The Hon. (Dr.) Jayampathy Wickramaratne was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“Nations Environmental Forum (NEF) (Incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Mahaweli Development and Environment for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5) of the Parliament.

Today is the Fifteenth Allotted Day of the Appropriation Bill (2017) – “Committee Stage Debate”.


Motion at the Adjournment Time

Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Appointments of Agricultural Research and Production Assistants to North and East” was moved by the Hon. Muhammad Ibrahim Muhammad Mansoor.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1841 Hrs. until 0930 Hrs. on Wednesday 30th November 2016.
