The Hon. Ravi Karunanayake, Minister of Finance moved the Bill entitled

“Value Added Tax (Amendment)”

to amend the Value Added Tax Act, No.14 of 2002.


Main Business of the House for Today

The following Items (appearing as Item Nos. 150 to 152 of today’s Order Paper) were passed by the House:-

(i) Order under the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act
(ii) Regulations under the Judicature Act
(iii) Mediation Board (Amendment) Bill


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1725 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Wednesday 20th July 2016.
