(i) The Hon. K. Kader Masthan was granted leave to introduce the following Bill, entitled

“Al-Jamiathul Ghawsiyyah (Incorporation)”

The above Bill was referred to the Minister of Post, Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs for report to Parliament under Standing Order 47 (5).


Main Business of the House for Today

Regulations under the Convention against Doping in Sport Act

was passed by the House.


Adjournment Motion

Adjournment Motion on the “Power Crisis” was moved by the Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma.


The Parliament was, thereafter adjourned at 1847 Hrs. until 1300 Hrs. on Tuesday 3rd May 2016.
